User interface design is another skill I find challenging and rewarding at the same time. Interaction between the user and the application interface is something I find to be the greatest reward in the design process aside from coding and implementation. Its like tool design to me, I am building a tool that someone needs to interact with in order to gain a result. Its very similar to web design but has a bit more depth to it, a different type of thought and planning has to go into it in my opinion. Interface design has allowed me to think outside the box with respect to the technology and skill you need to put forward to achieve success.
Below are some of the UI's I designed and developed with explanation of my interaction on each project:
ProductCenter
Design all product related UI's with Adobe Photoshop for Windows/Unix based clents as well as the WebClient interfaces.
Here is a sample of one of many splash screen used in the product.

Another section of the product however this is a prototype mockup of what it would look like after production.

Icon design is a fun part of the UI design. Here is a sample of how I layout my icon library in order to make all elements of the product look and feel similar.

Legends are an intergral part to any product. Here is a screen shot of ProuctCenter's legnd for both Windows/UNIX and web clients.
Below is a section from my 2001 Portfolio, I have completed quite a bit since these, but haven't had a chance to showcase them yet... That is coming soon! The CLOSE button does nothing ;)
